Society of Veterinary Nuclear Medicine Short Course
August 9-11, 2019
Texas A&M University

  • Registration for the Veterinary Nuclear Medicine Short Course is now open!  Cost is $600 for this 2.5 day course which will be held on August 9-11th in College Station Texas. https://vetmed.tamu.edu/ce/nuclear-medicine-society-short-course/
  • For this meeting to occur, a minimum number of “on site” registrants is required.  If this minimum is not met by June 1, 2019, you will be notified as to the situation. Therefore, we recommend that registrants do not purchase nonrefundable airline tickets prior to June 1st or receipt of notification that the minimum threshold has been reached.
  • Free transportation between the conference site and the host hotel will be provided at the beginning and end of each day’s sessions for guests of the host facility.  If you opt not to stay at the host hotel,  transportation will be “on your own” and a parking fee will be incurred on Friday.
This course is intended as a general review of nuclear medicine. It will include: reviews of the basic principles of nuclear medicine and image processing, common nuclear medicine imaging procedures, interpretative principles and case examples. The course will focus on small animal nuclear medicine, with a brief review of equine nuclear medicine (specifically, bone scintigraphy).
